Safety rules

The safety of your children is of paramount importance to us. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult or older sister/brother into the school. A teacher is on duty at 8.35 am.  Children may come into school from 8.35 am.

Reception class children should be brought to and collected from the Reception gate.

Children must also be collected promptly at 3.15 pm for KS1 and 3.20/25pm for KS2. No infant child will be allowed to leave school alone. Similarly no junior children will be allowed to leave the school premises without prior arrangement and notification of their travel plan. In an emergency please telephone the school so that arrangements may be made to supervise the children until they are collected. No jewellery, toys or sweets should be brought to school, unless in connection with a class project. In the interests of safety children should not wear earrings when doing PE.

If your children are absent from school for any reason it is essential that you inform us first by telephone followed by a letter on their return. All unauthorised absences must be recorded and reported. If you have a problem concerning your child's attendance you may contact our school attendance officer (Tel. No. 8770 6603). Please make sure that your child arrives punctually for school. All incidents of lateness are recorded. If you are unavoidably late please report in the first instance to the school office.
